
Role Overview:
- Direct the end-to-end industrial relations strategy, including collective bargaining and union negotiations, to ensure a stable and productive work environment.
- Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, from talent acquisition and performance management to compensation benchmarking, to align human capital with long-term business growth.
- Manage complex legal compliance and statutory requirements, representing the organization before labor courts and government authorities to mitigate operational risks.
- Drive organizational development initiatives that enhance leadership capabilities and employee engagement, ensuring the workforce remains agile and motivated.
- Partner with department heads to resolve grievances and disciplinary matters, maintaining a culture of fairness, transparency, and adherence to company policy.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in navigating complex labor laws and industrial disputes, with a proven track record of maintaining positive relations with trade unions and local government bodies.
- Exceptional ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams through periods of organizational change or operational scaling.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret HR metrics and financial data, enabling data-driven decision-making that supports the companys bottom line.
- Advanced proficiency in conflict resolution and negotiation, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from the shop floor to the boardroom.
- A postgraduate degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations from a premier institute, complemented by a deep understanding of the manufacturing landscape in Gwalior.
- Proven capacity to thrive in an on-site, high-pressure manufacturing environment, demonstrating resilience and a hands-on leadership style.
