Role Overview

The General Manager Human Resources will lead and oversee HR operations, talent management, and policy implementation. The role requires strong leadership to design, manage, and optimize HR processes that support organizational growth. The GMHR will ensure compliance with labor laws, foster employee engagement, and align HR strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day HR operations across all business functions.

- Design, review, and implement HR policies, systems, and processes.

- Lead recruitment and talent acquisition strategies for domestic and international placements.

- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and global HR standards.

- Develop and execute training and development programs to enhance workforce skills.

- Drive performance management and appraisal systems to align with business goals.

- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions effectively.

- Implement HRMS and digital HR solutions for efficient HR operations.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies.

- Provide strategic HR insights to the leadership team for decision-making.

Required Skillsets

- Strong expertise in HR management, policies, and employee relations.

- Proven leadership and people management skills.

- Excellent knowledge of Indian labor laws and international compliance frameworks.

- Strategic HR planning and organizational development abilities.

- Proficiency in HRMS, HR analytics, and digital HR tools.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and client relationships.

- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

- Masters degree in HR or MBA (HR) preferred.

- 7-10 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably in HR consultancy.
