General Manger - HR
Our Organization has been assigned to search and submit a highly proactive HR profiles by our client, who are a leading Brand name in their field having multiple operations Pan India with HQ in A class city in Tamil Ndu.
The General Manager Human Resources will lead the end-to-end HR function, partnering closely with the business to drive talent strategies, build organizational capability, and foster an engaging, high-performance culture.
This role combines strategic HR leadership with operational excellence, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains the best talent in line with its growth ambitions.
As a key member of the senior management team, the GM HR will design and deliver people initiatives that directly impact business outcomes, culture transformation, and future readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a strategic business partner to the leadership team to support growth and transformation agendas.
- Strengthen the organizations employer brand and employee value proposition.
Talent Management & Development:
- Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, and onboarding for critical roles.
- Design and implement succession planning and leadership development programs.
- Champion capability building, learning, and skill enhancement initiatives across levels.
Employee Engagement & Culture:
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, belonging, and productivity.
- Promote diversity, equity & inclusion as integral to business success.
- Reinforce a culture anchored on performance, accountability, and shared values.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee HR operations, policies, and processes to ensure efficiency, fairness, and compliance.
- Manage compensation & benefits frameworks to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Ensure adherence to legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements across all locations.
Change & Transformation:
- Support business transformation and digital HR initiatives with a people-first mindset.
- Drive change management programs to embed agility, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Leverage HR analytics and data insights for proactive decision-making.
Education & Experience:
- Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field from a reputed institution.
- 1822 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 46 years in HR leadership roles managing diverse, multi-location teams.
- Experience in multi location manufacturing operations, FMCG industry involving both Sales HR and Retail sectors is highly preferred.
