3. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs):

- Industrial relations stability and zero/minimum production loss due to IR issues.

- Successful union negotiations and timely wage settlements.

- Labour law and statutory compliance.

- Manpower productivity and optimization.

- Reduction in absenteeism and employee turnover.

- Recruitment turnaround time for critical positions.

- Training effectiveness and skill development.

- Employee engagement and satisfaction scores.

- HR cost as a percentage of revenue/production cost.

- Overtime and contract labour cost optimization.

- Performance management effectiveness.

- Succession coverage for critical positions.

- Employee grievance resolution turnaround time.

- HR digitalization and process improvement.

- Successful support for new projects/capacity expansion.

4. CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Education:

- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources / Personnel Management preferred.

- Degree in Law, Labour Welfare, Industrial Relations or related discipline will be an advantage.

Experience:

- 15 - 22 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, auto components, engineering or similar industries.

- Strong experience in plant HR and Industrial Relations is essential.

- Experience in unionized manufacturing environments is highly desirable.

- Experience in managing large workforces and multi-shift operations preferred.

7. IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Plant HR & IR leader with strong exposure to unionized manufacturing operations, labour law compliance, workforce productivity and employee relations. The candidate should have the maturity to handle sensitive employee/union matters, negotiate effectively with stakeholders, and simultaneously drive strategic HR initiatives that support business growth, productivity and profitability.

The role requires a hands-on leader who can balance business objectives, employee expectations and industrial relations while creating a disciplined, productive and engaged workforce.
