Role Overview:

This pivotal role leads the strategic direction and operational excellence of our global HR Operations, HR Shared Services, and HRIS functions. The General Manager will be instrumental in transforming our HR service delivery model, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and an exceptional employee experience across all regions.

This leader will collaborate extensively with global HR leadership, business unit heads, IT, finance, and external partners, while also managing a large, diverse team. The impact of this role is profound, directly enhancing operational effectiveness, optimizing HR service delivery, improving employee satisfaction, ensuring global compliance, and providing a robust HR infrastructure that supports aggressive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute the global HR Operations strategy, aligning with overall business objectives to drive efficiency and employee experience across all HR service delivery channels.

- Oversee end-to-end HR Shared Services (HRSS) operations, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and compliant service delivery for all HR processes, from hire-to-retire, for a global workforce.

- Lead the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of HRIS platforms and other HR technologies, leveraging automation and data analytics to enhance operational effectiveness and provide actionable insights.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR processes, identifying opportunities for standardization, automation, and re-engineering to reduce costs, improve accuracy, and elevate employee self-service capabilities.

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing HR Operations team, fostering a culture of service excellence, continuous learning, and innovation to meet evolving business demands.

- Collaborate effectively with global HR Business Partners, IT, Finance, Legal, and senior business leaders to understand their needs, manage expectations, and ensure HR operations effectively support strategic business goals.

- Manage relationships with external HR service providers and BPO partners, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met, costs are optimized, and strategic partnerships are leveraged for maximum value.

- Establish robust governance frameworks and ensure all HR operational activities comply with local and global regulatory requirements, data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR), and internal policies to mitigate risks.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated deep expertise in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale global HR Operations, HR Shared Services (HRSS), and HR Global Business Services (HR GBS) models.

- Proven track record in HRIS strategy, selection, implementation (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM), and optimization, with a strong understanding of HR technology trends and automation.

- Exceptional program management capabilities, particularly in driving complex HR transformation initiatives and process re-engineering efforts across global landscapes.

- Strong analytical acumen, with the ability to leverage HR data and metrics to drive informed decision-making and demonstrate operational impact to senior leadership.

- Outstanding leadership and people management skills, capable of inspiring and developing diverse, geographically dispersed teams to achieve ambitious goals.

- Superior communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, adept at engaging with senior executives, stakeholders, and external partners across various cultures.

- An MBA or a Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a premier institution. Relevant certifications in HR technology, project management, or process improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) are highly desirable.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in managing change and ambiguity. This role is based in Bangalore and requires a significant on-site presence to lead and collaborate effectively with local and global teams.
