General Manager - Hospital Operations

The General Manager - Hospital Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing all non-clinical operational aspects of the hospital.

This senior leadership role requires a seasoned professional with - over 20 years of experience in hospital management, focusing on efficiency, quality, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.-

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Operational Leadership - Develop and execute operational strategies to enhance service delivery, patient satisfaction, and financial stability. Oversee all non-clinical departments, including administration, facilities, maintenance, security, IT, and housekeeping.

Quality & Compliance- Ensure operations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance (e.g., NABH, JCI, local health authority regulations). Implement best practices for continuous operational improvement.

Financial Management- Manage the operational budget, monitor expenditure, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality of care. Drive revenue growth through efficient operational processes.

Team Management & Development- Lead, mentor, and manage a large, diverse team of operational staff. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

Stakeholder Relations- Serve as a key liaison between the management, medical staff, patients, and external regulatory bodies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in hospital operations and administration.

- Proven track record of successfully managing the operations of hospitals with at least 150 or more beds.

Educational Qualification:

Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) or any Graduate

Skills:

Exceptional leadership, financial acumen, problem-solving skills, and deep knowledge of healthcare regulatory environments.
