GM - Home Loan (External Vertical)
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Business Growth & Revenue Ownership:
- Lead and drive home loan business for external channels.
- Own P&L, revenue targets, and growth strategy for the vertical.
- Identify new markets and scale loan sourcing across regions.
2. Channel & Partnership Management:
Build and manage partnerships with:
- DSAs (Direct Selling Agents)
- Builders / Developers
- Real estate brokers
- Financial intermediaries
- Strengthen relationships with banks and NBFCs for better loan offerings.
3. Team Leadership & Expansion:
- Hire, train, and manage regional sales teams / cluster managers.
- Set performance targets and drive high productivity across teams.
- Ensure strong sales governance and reporting structure.
4. Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Design and implement go-to-market strategy for external sourcing.
- Drive lead generation, conversion, and disbursement volumes.
- Monitor funnel metrics: login sanction disbursement.
5. Process & Operations Excellence:
Ensure smooth coordination between:
- Sales
- Credit
- Banks/NBFCs
- Improve TAT (Turnaround Time) and customer experience.
- Build scalable processes for high-volume loan disbursements.
6. Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with internal leadership, product, and credit teams.
- Act as a bridge between external partners and internal teams.
- Present business updates, forecasts, and performance reports to senior management.
7. Risk & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance guidelines.
- Maintain quality of sourcing and minimize delinquency risks.
8. Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Track competitor offerings, interest rates, and lending trends.
- Continuously refine strategy based on market insights and customer behavior.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 515 years in home loan / LAP / mortgage sales
- Strong exposure to DSA / builder / connector-driven business
- Experience in team handling + P&L ownership
- Deep relationships with banks & NBFCs
