General Manager/Head - Accounts - Manufacturing - CA

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the accounts department, leading a team of 10-15 persons.

- Complete ownership of all data and transactions recorded in books of accounts.

- Regular monitoring and reconciliation of all payables and receivables including but not limited to Vendors / Customers / Banks etc.

- Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), providing regular updates on financial Performance and key metrics.

- Manage accounting operations across multiple manufacturing plants, ensuring consistency and Accuracy in financial reporting.

- Implement and maintain SAP systems to streamline accounting processes and enhance data Accuracy.

- Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.

- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards including but not limited to Cost Records, GST and Income Tax Compliances.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.

- Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.

- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.

- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- CA Qualified

- 15-25 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with a significant portion in leadership positions.

- Candidate must be from the manufacturing industry.

- Demonstrated Independent working experience and meeting deadlines.

- Proven track record of managing accounting functions across multiple manufacturing plants.

- Proficiency in SAP and other relevant accounting software.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing teams of 10-15 Members.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
