GM Finance - Shared Services This role will be responsible for end-to-end effective functioning of key Finance Operations like Accounts Payable Management, Fixed Assets / Project Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Capex Budgeting & Monitoring, Statutory Compliance viz. TDS, MSME, etc. and Insurance Management for group entities. Lead implementation of Shared Services Center for the above across group companies and play critical role in sustainable process standardization, improvements, and learning dissemination across entities. Key Result Areas: The incumbent will be responsible for proactively and independently leading the Shared Service Set Up for Group Entities and drive phased change management towards creating a SSC set up for Finance Operations. Accounts Payable: - Accounts Payable Control - effective functioning of the invoice booking & employee reimbursement process, SLA based Account reconciliation, drive closure of unsettled / aged advances, vendor balances, Open GR IR Controls - Monthly and quarterly closing for Accounts Payable, Bank BRS, Statutory and internal audits - Audit and oversee Accounts Payable process of plants and other group entities. - Work closely with Tax team to ensure GST credit mismatch cases are dealt appropriately by timely recovery of the GST mismatch amount Fixed Asset Management: - Budgeting - project budgeting, monitoring, and tracking till capitalization of assets - Project accounting activities - internal order creation, balance transfer / interchange, variance analysis, and reporting - Fixed asset verification as per company requirement & driving process improvements in the same - Fixed asset accounting - capitalization Insurance Management: - Lead the insurance management - renewals, placements, and insurer / broker change management. - Regular monitoring of coverage adequacy for effective enterprise risk management - Ensure effective operations of day-to-day insurance activities like declarations to insurance company, cover enhancements /endorsements, claims management. Payroll Accounting: - Ensure timely recording of payroll entries and perform variance analysis - Monitor provision vs. payment for employee related statutory payables and ensure clearing of open line items of unpaid employee balances - Work closely with HR to ensure above reconciliation and ensure process hygiene TDS & MSME compliances: - Monthly reconciliation & TDS / TCS payable, timely payments and quarterly returns and reconciliation with 26 AS, issue TDS certificates - Half yearly MSME compliances and put in mechanisms to ensure timely payments to MSMEs within Statutory SLAs Educational Background: - Mandatory: Graduate with CA / MBA Finance / ICWA qualification Work Experience: - 10-15 years of experience in similar assignments with a Manufacturing company. - Finance Shared Service Experience is preferrable - Preferred to have experience in Leading the Shared Service Function in a manufacturing company with 3000+ Cr. turnover - Excellent Understanding of finance Business Processes and related risks - Ability to work on automation / process improvement projects working with stakeholders across functions / locations - Strong Project Management / Delivery Management Skills
