General Manager - Finance & Accounts:

We are looking for a Head - Finance & Accounts for one of our leading clients in the Food Processing industry.

Education: Qualified CA/ICWA.

Required Skill Set:

- Seeking a Head of Finance & Accounts to oversee the company's financial accounts, managing day-to-day accounting functions and ensuring timely closing of books.

- This role includes responsibilities for periodic bank reconciliations, managing provisions and accruals, maintaining full ledger oversight, and handling vendor and customer payments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Independently supervise and manage day-to-day accounting, finance, and taxation matters, including bookkeeping, monthly and annual closure of accounts, MIS reporting, audit coordination, finalization of annual accounts, and audit documentation.

- Ensure compliance with direct and indirect taxes, including GST, TDS, and other income tax related topics.

- Liaise with banks and regulatory authorities to ensure the smooth functioning of the business while ensuring adherence to all statutory timelines.

- Supervising processing of the payroll, professional tax, PF and ESI compliances and coordination with accounts team and external consultants.

- Intercompany reporting and reconciliations with global headquarter in Germany and other subsidiaries.

- Managing and leading a team of accountants, providing guidance and direction to ensure all accounting activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.

- This professional oversees the work of the team members and ensures that they are trained and meet their objectives.

- Designing and strengthening the internal financial controls and SOPs of Finance & Accounts function.

- Budgeting and forecasting, this professional also monitors actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing analysis and recommendations to the global headquarter in Germany.
