The GM Finance & Accounts will be responsible for overseeing the companys financial operations, including accounting, taxation, audits, and financial planning. This role will ensure compliance with statutory requirements, implement effective financial controls, and provide strategic insights for decision-making to support the companys growth and profitability.

Financial Planning & Reporting:

- Drive preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements by applying foresight and structured planning to ensure alignment with accounting standards.

- Strengthen budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis by presenting clear insights that help leadership make informed decisions.

- Deliver comprehensive MIS dashboards by converting financial data into actionable insights that support leadership in performance monitoring and strategic planning.

- Enhance accuracy and timeliness of monthly MIS by implementing disciplined reporting mechanisms and ensuring robust data integrity across functions.

- Monitor KPIs and working capital trends to identify patterns and support data-driven reporting for management.

- Lead capital expenditure planning by evaluating investment proposals, monitoring project spends, and presenting ROI insights to support strategic decision-making.

- Support cost optimization projects by identifying improvement areas and driving initiatives to enhance profitability.

Accounting & Audit:

- Oversee payables, receivables, general ledger, and reconciliations by maintaining high levels of accuracy and discipline in execution.

- Ensure smooth closure of statutory, internal, and tax audits through proactive coordination with auditors and regulatory bodies.

- Maintain strong controls around ERP/SAP processes by resolving issues quickly and upholding system integrity.

Taxation & Compliance:

- Lead compliance for GST, TDS, corporate tax, and statutory filings with precision to ensure timely adherence.

- Stay aligned with regulatory expectations under the Companies Act, SEBI, and other laws to safeguard organizational compliance.

- Engage with consultants and authorities to resolve assessments and disputes using effective negotiation and analytical capabilities.

Insurance & Risk Finance:

- Oversee end-to-end insurance portfolio for the organization

- Partner with insurers and brokers to negotiate terms, evaluate policy adequacy, and align coverages with business expansion, capex, warehouse additions, and operational changes

- Conduct periodic insurance audits across plants and supply chain to ensure correct asset valuation, stock declaration, and compliance with safety norms required by insurers.

Board Presentations:

- Deliver structured and insight-driven Board presentations by translating complex financial data into clear strategic narratives, demonstrating strong analytical thinking and the ability to influence leadership decisions.

Team Leadership:

- Guide and mentor the finance team by creating opportunities to improve performance and grow capability.

- Foster a culture that values accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement through transparent guidance and feedback.

- Lead automation and digital initiatives by encouraging adoption of improved processes and agile working.
