
Role Objective:
To lead and manage the organizations overall financial strategy by ensuring robust accounting practices, efficient treasury operations, full compliance with taxation laws, and sound governance through internal audit, budgeting, and cost control. The role also oversees subsidiaries and international business operations for financial efficiency and statutory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate accounting in compliance with Indian GAAP/IFRS.
- Oversee statutory audits and manage direct and indirect tax compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
- Handle assessments, filings, and tax planning.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
- Optimize fund utilization and monitor investments and borrowings.
- Negotiate credit limits and ensure liquidity management.
- Consolidate subsidiary accounts and manage intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance with FEMA, RBI, and international taxation norms.
- Coordinate with overseas offices for financial governance and reporting.
- Develop and implement cost control mechanisms.
- Conduct variance analysis and drive cost optimization initiatives.
- Maintain cost sheets and track product profitability.
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting exercises.
- Monitor adherence to budgets and provide variance analysis.
- Present insights and recommendations for management decision-making.
- Design and implement internal audit frameworks.
- Identify risk areas and ensure operational and financial compliance.
- Recommend corrective and preventive measures to strengthen controls.
Technical / Technological Competencies:
- Accounting Standards & Financial Reporting (IFRS/GAAP): Strong understanding and application of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements for both Indian and international entities.
- Taxation Direct & Indirect: In-depth knowledge of Income Tax, GST, and other statutory requirements, including return filing, assessments, and audits.
- Costing & Budgetary Control: Ability to design and implement cost accounting systems, budget frameworks, and variance analysis for cost optimization.
- Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Proficiency in managing liquidity, fund allocation, banking relationships, and investment decisions.
- ERP System Knowledge (SAP): Expertise in SAP or similar ERP systems for financial accounting, reporting, and business integration.
Requirement:
- Any CA with post experience of 18 - 25 yrs.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Excellent Reporting skills through Spreadsheets, Dashboards MIS etc.
- Compliance Oriented.
- Thorough exposure to Costing, Budgeting, treasury, taxation, and international operations is a must.
- Experienced in Team Management.
Location: Dombivili, Mumbai.
Working: 5 day week.
Reporting to: CFO.
