General Manager - Finance

Role Overview

The GM-Finance will be a senior finance leader responsible for financial governance, project finance oversight, systems implementation, compliance, and stakeholder reporting across Lakeshores development and property management businesses. The role partners closely with the VP-Finance, business heads, commercial, and operations teams, and plays a critical role in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Finance & Governance:

- Act as a strategic advisor on financial risks, implications, and business decisions.

- Own budgeting, business planning, forecasting, and financial strategy execution.

- Lead Board, Management Committee, and Group-level financial reporting.

- Ensure statutory, internal, and external audit compliance.

- Drive SAP S/4 HANA implementation (PS, MM, FICO) and Yardi stabilization.

- Build and lead a high-performing finance team.

Development & Property Management Finance:

- Oversee project cost planning, cash flows, WIP, and variance analysis.

- Partner with Commercial & QS teams on tenders, BOQs, pre-bid estimates, and contractor selection.

- Manage working capital, contract terms, variations, extra works, and final settlements.

Tax & Compliance:

- Own direct and indirect tax strategy, ensuring compliance and optimization.

- Advise on business models and supply chain structuring.

Systems, Analytics & Reporting:

- Advanced financial modeling, dashboards, KPIs, and scenario analysis.

- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics capabilities.
