About the Company:
This organization is one of the Gulf region's longest-established, family-owned industrial business groups, with a heritage spanning more than a century. Its Industrial & Energy division serves a diverse range of energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors across the GCC through three business lines Machinery Distribution, Equipment Leasing, and Energy (Products & Services). This role leads the Energy business line, reporting into the division's COO. The Energy division of the company provides end-to-end engineering solutions, equipment, and maintenance services for the oil and gas, petrochemical, utility, aviation, and heavy manufacturing sectors across the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall Operational responsibility of Energy Divisions business in KSA & Bahrain. Manage and control the divisions diverse business activities in machinery distribution, leasing and Energy Products & Services particularly to include the achievement of revenue/profit objectives, implementation of agreed staff structures, enforcement of policies and procedures and the execution of business plans in collaboration with the business unit managers.
The position will contribute to the transformation process of the division from trading into more of services and local value addition as one of the key objectives thus developing a sustainable business model going forward.
- Design, plan and implement business objectives and procedures.
- Set comprehensive goals for business growth and success.
- Establish policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision.
- Oversee daily operations and the work of executives.
- Lead employees with an example.
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Create reports for the COO, CEO and the Executive Committee.
- Take the lead in business expansion activities and assist COO in implementing Strategic plans for the Business divisions.
- Maintain relationships with partners and vendors.
Key Result Areas:
- Accountability & Reporting Method: Strategic Implementation of strategic business plan Semi Annual Appraisal Monthly Progress Report.
- Financial Achievement of Revenue and profit Objectives: Quarterly review with Ex-Committee. Monthly performance report.
- YOY Profit improvement: Annual review. Yearly Budgets.
- Positive Cash contribution to the group through focused management of stocks and receivables: Annual performance review. Monthly reports on stocks and debtors.
- Customers & Market: Develop close working relationship with the senior Management team of key accounts as well as key principals/Business partners Expansion of business - New Business/offerings/Regions Annual Reviews. Visit reports to customers/Principals Annual review - percentage increase in revenue from new areas. Quarterly reports on new developments.
- Operation & Innovation: Continuous evaluation of key processes relative to Industry best Practices - Planning & Budgeting, Workforce Management, Operations, Customer satisfaction, Staff performance review, Periodic Reviews and process change reports.
- People & Growth: Succession Planning for Key Positions Annual performance review. Maintain prescribed localization percentage for local staffs in each of the countries of operation. Retain and attract local talents.

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical /chemical engineering with an MBA is preferred. Minimum of 15+ years of experience in providing products and services into the Core sector Industries covering Energy, Oil & Gas, Power & utility, Construction, Mining, Manufacturing, in a leadership position within the GCC region.
- Should have been in an operational leadership position in a diverse business environment for more than 10 years.
Must Haves:
- Multi-Business Operational Leadership (Not EPC only or functionally siloed experience)
- Experience running diversified industrial businesses, not a single line
- Oversight of sales, services, rentals, projects, aftermarket - Preferred
- Ability to manage complexity across countries and business units
