Position: E-Commerce Lead (GM Level)

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Reporting to: Head E-commerce

Role Type: Senior Leadership | Individual Contributor

Scope & Purpose

The E-Commerce Lead (GM Level) will be responsible for driving digital business growth across major online platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, Quick Commerce, and emerging marketplaces. This senior IC role demands strong strategic ownership, revenue leadership, and cross-functional influence to scale digital business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership:

- Manage and grow strategic relationships with key e-commerce partners.

- Lead annual business planning and secure visibility & high-impact collaborations.

- Build long-term GTM strategies to strengthen digital presence.

P&L Ownership & Revenue Management:

- Own revenue and profitability across all e-commerce channels.

- Track financial performance and optimize strategies for topline & bottom-line delivery.

Growth Acceleration & Market Expansion:

- Identify new business opportunities and category expansion levers.

- Track market trends and execute scalable growth initiatives.

Promotions & Conversion Optimization:

- Drive promotions, exclusive launches, and digital marketing initiatives.

- Optimize conversion rates and ensure strong ROI from platform investments.

Supply Chain & Operational Excellence:

- Work with supply chain teams for accurate forecasting and inventory availability.

- Avoid stock-outs and ensure smooth operational performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver unified business outcomes.

- Data-Driven Insights & Performance Monitoring

- Leverage analytics for pricing, promotions, and assortment decisions.

- Track KPIs and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: MBA or equivalent (Marketing/Business)

- Experience: 8-15 years with minimum 6 years in e-commerce leadership

- Expertise: Amazon, Flipkart, Quick Commerce, D2C, digital retail ecosystems

- Skills: P&L management, analytics, digital strategy, stakeholder management

- Attributes: Strategic thinker, execution-focused, strong leadership
