General Manager - Distribution & Agro Processing - FMCG/Food Production - IIM

A leading FMCG company in food production, distribution, and agro-processing based in Lagos, Nigeria is seeking to hire a General Manager to oversee its operations and commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of the company across all functions, including commercial, operations, production, and finance.

- Provide leadership and direction to the Production Manager, Finance Controller, Sales Heads, and Operations Manager, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

- Drive sales performance, ensure effective distribution systems, and maintain oversight of accounts and financial reporting.

- Ensure operational efficiency, strong inter-departmental coordination, and compliance across the organization.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years' work experience in a management or leadership role within FMCG, food production, or related industries.

- Graduate of a recognized higher institution, preferably with credentials from the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) or equivalent.

- Strong understanding of sales strategies, with general knowledge of accounts and distribution systems.

- Must be younger than 40 years old, energetic, adaptable, and able to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
