Description:

- For one of our client in the Higher Education Sector :

- Conceptualize the HR Strategy in alignment with business direction.

- Formulate HR policies & practices that build a positive work environment in line with local laws and regulations.

- Promote an organization culture that supports the overall HR strategy and company values.

- Formulate and Lead performance management & rewards, learning & development, talent management and operations as per business requirements.

- Institutionalise a performance culture by focusing on goal setting, timely performance reviews and feedback.

- Ensure that the Local HR team adheres to the Performance Management Cycle and timelines.

- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning.

- Lead end-to-end recruitment of academic (full-time and adjunct faculty) and functional staff.

- Partner with academic leadership to forecast talent needs and build strategic hiring pipelines.

- Own and optimize the TA strategy to ensure hiring quality, time efficiency, and a world-class candidate experience.

- HR Operations, Compliance & Payroll.

- Ensure compliance with labor laws, especially for remote/global faculty employment.

- Collaborate with finance, legal, and payroll teams for seamless and timely payroll execution.

- Maintain a centralized repository of contracts, documentation, and HR policies.

- Creation of HR scorecard and ensure achievement of the performance measures against the targets.

- Set the HR performance targets in line with the global HR scorecard and establish the measurement criteria for the same.

- Check the progress against the scorecard at regular intervals and modify targets and criteria for evaluation in the event of any unforeseen changes in the market conditions.

Qualifications & Skills:

- 15 -25 years of experience across HRBP, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations.

- Proven exposure to educational, research, or global academic environments is a plus.

- Excellent communication, program management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and compliance, especially in multi-location and cross-border contexts.

- Self-driven, agile, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced startup-like environment.
