General Manager Demand Planning | Industry: HealthTech / Digital Healthcare / Online Marketplace Key Responsibilities: - Lead the end-to-end demand planning and forecasting function across service categories (consultations, diagnostics, pharmacy, etc.). - Utilize historical trends, market intelligence, and statistical models to develop accurate, agile, and actionable forecasts. - Collaborate with business, category, operations, marketing, and product teams to understand drivers of demand and incorporate them into planning. - Partner with the supply chain and network ops team to ensure optimal inventory/service capacity - balancing availability with efficiency (stockouts vs. overstock). - Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor forecast accuracy, variances, and key operational metrics. - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for demand-supply mismatches and drive corrective initiatives through cross-functional teams. - Champion process automation and forecasting model improvements using data science, tools, and workflow optimization. - Bring a consumer-first and data-backed approach to planning in a complex marketplace environment. - Lead and mentor a small team of analysts and planners. Desired Profile: - MBA from a top-tier institute (ISB/IIMs/NITIE/XLRI/SP Jain); undergrad from IIT/NIT is a plus. - 5-9 years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, category management, or business analytics - ideally in HealthTech, e-commerce, or marketplaces. - Demonstrated ability to drive forecast accuracy and operational efficiency in a fast-growth environment. - Strong command over data tools (Excel, SQL) and experience with forecasting/analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python-based tools). - Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management and communication skills. - High bias for action, problem-solving orientation, and ability to handle ambiguity at scale.
