General Manager - Customer Development Manager - North


Key Responsibilities:

- Grow the business within current key strategic clients, new services for existing clients, and increase share of wallet.

- Develop teams in growing relationships with new business and sector accounts across the region.

- Meet/exceed target for new business revenue from existing customers.

- Schedule, prepare, and facilitate regular leadership meetings with customers (QBR, QBP, TEM).

- Maintain segment standards on profit margins and accounts receivables.

- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

- Achieve financial budget targets, including new business growth targets.

- Drive and improve performance of operations.

- Ensure compliance with service level agreements and regulatory obligations.

- Manage changing scope and project acceptance criteria.

- Establish effective relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target accounts.

- Coordinate regular interaction between internal stakeholders (e.g., Ops, IT, OE, HR) to drive continuous improvement.

- Investigate and review key customers' supply chain needs and identify where can best apply value.

- Monitor operational performances and intervene when customer satisfaction is at risk.

- Manage customer contract negotiations.

- Ensure on-time billing and DSO management.

Experience: Minimum 8-10 years' experience within logistics/3PL and/or supply chain with a significant focus and/or experience in customer management and new business acquisitions.

Qualification: Post-graduate from a recognized institution in supply chain or logistics.

Skills and Competencies:

- Excellent customer relationship and negotiation skills at all management levels.

- Fluent in English (written and spoken).

- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead multiple divisional operations and functions within the country.

- Compliance with service level agreements, regulatory, and corporate obligations.

- Ability to manage and deliver customer-focused service.

- Strong financial acumen and ability to achieve budget targets.

- Strong leadership and team development skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
