Job Description:

- Individual Proposal Review: The candidate will evaluate business proposals received from global business and country teams. This includes understanding the proposed business model and the rationale behind credit limits, performing necessary due diligence, evaluating credit reports from independent agencies (e.g., BVD, Moody's), carrying out independent financial analysis, and recommending appropriate limits and mitigation measures to his/her superior(s).

- Risk & Budgeting Exercise :This role involves preparing timely risk advisories for circulation across the organization, aimed at sensitizing the trading team to various risk issues. The candidate will also review the annual budgeting exercise where the Central Risk Team evaluates and approves limits for Olam Agri's various profit centers.

- Market Research : The candidate will continuously monitor the latest economic, political, and market events to appropriately calibrate review decisions in response to external factors. Timely analysis and circulation of weekly/monthly credit & counterparty risk dashboards for specific assigned products is crucial.

- Internal Stakeholder Engagement :This role requires the candidate to work closely with other departments such as Legal, IT, Finance, and Compliance for effective execution of duties. The candidate will be responsible for presenting the Enterprise Risk Scorecard, Risk Dashboards, Risk Appetite Framework, etc. Additionally, the role involves engaging closely with Country Teams that manage profit centers requiring regular review due to a high concentration of risk.

Requirements:

- Good people management skills and the ability to lead a team.

- Excellent team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to communicate and interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external agencies/contacts, including statutory bodies.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities concurrently.

- At least 3-10+ years of relevant experience in risk and/or finance control-related fields.

- Possess strong analytical skills and proven knowledge of commodities products and markets.
