General Manager - Corporate Finance - Equity Research - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

Looking for professionals with experience in public markets, private investments, and equity research to work closely with senior leadership, investors, and board members.

The role requires strong research capability, stakeholder management, and a hands-on approach to execution. support management in conducting in-depth market and investment research , and generating meaningful insights to guide decision-making.

The role will also act as a bridge between investors, board members, and the leadership team by decoding strategic guidance, aligning internal execution, and ensuring timely communication and follow-through. Redefined.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct in-depth market, industry, and investment research, delivering clear, actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

2. Support senior management in evaluating investment opportunities across public and private markets.

3. Serve as a key liaison between investors, board members, and the leadership team - translating strategic guidance into actionable internal priorities.

4. Ensure seamless alignment between external expectations and internal execution through proactive communication, follow-up, and stakeholder management.

5. Prepare high-quality analysis, presentations, and updates for board meetings, investor discussions, and leadership reviews.

6. Maintain a hands-on approach to execution while demonstrating strong ownership and attention to detail.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in public markets, private investments, and equity research.

2. MBA or equivalent t qualification from a top B-school with 8-15 years of relevant experience.

3. Strong understanding of equity research, market analysis, and in-depth business analysis.

4. Ability to work directly with investors, board members, and senior business leaders.

5. Excellent communication skills, especially in synthesizing inputs into clear actions and updates.

6. Strong ownership mindset with the ability to be both strategic and hands-on in execution.
