General Manager - Corporate Affairs - Renewable Energy Firm

We are seeking a senior professional to lead corporate affairs and regulatory interface for large-scale renewable energy projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring all statutory approvals and compliance for projects across State Transmission Utilities (STU) and Inter-State Transmission Systems (ISTS).

Key Responsibilities

- Drive approvals for grid connectivity, Long-Term Access (LTA), Open Access, and project registration with SLDC/RLDC/NLDC.

- Liaise with central and state authorities for regulatory clearances.

- Build strong relationships with regulatory bodies and government agencies.

- Oversee monthly energy billing and settlement; resolve disputes and deviations.

Required Skills

- Expertise in ISTS/STU frameworks, Open Access, CTUIL processes, and CERC/SERC regulations.

- Strong stakeholder engagement and government liaisoning skills.

- High ownership and ability to manage multi-agency dependencies.

Education & Experience

- B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical or Power Systems; MBA/Post-Graduate in Regulatory Affairs/Public Policy preferred.

- 12-18 years in corporate affairs, regulatory approvals, or transmission interface roles in renewable/power/infrastructure sectors.
