Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented General Management professional to lead the Furniture Business across India and the Middle East.

The incumbent will be responsible for overall business operations, manufacturing performance, supply chain, sales coordination, cost optimisation and profitability improvement.

The role requires a hands-on business leader with proven experience in managing manufacturing operations, driving business turnarounds, improving operational efficiency and leading multiple manufacturing locations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take overall responsibility for business operations and performance across India and the Middle East.

- Develop and execute business turnaround strategies to improve revenue, profitability and operational performance.

- Identify business challenges and implement corrective action plans.

- Lead and coordinate manufacturing operations across multiple plants.

- Drive production efficiency, productivity improvement and on-time delivery.

- Identify opportunities for manufacturing cost reduction, material optimisation and equipment cost efficiency.

- Strengthen supply chain, procurement, inventory management and production planning.

- Align sales, marketing, product management and manufacturing functions to improve market competitiveness.

- Review pricing strategies, product portfolio and commercial performance.

- Strengthen sales management and customer-focused business execution.

- Establish performance monitoring systems, operational KPIs and management reporting.

- Lead cross-functional teams and ensure effective coordination between different locations.

- Work closely with international leadership and headquarters to achieve business objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 20 - 25 years of overall professional experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial product-based organisations.

- Proven experience in General Management, Business Head, COO, CEO or senior Operations leadership roles.

- Strong experience in managing end-to-end manufacturing business operations.

- Demonstrated track record of business turnaround, profitability improvement and revenue growth.

- Strong understanding of manufacturing, production, supply chain, cost structures, pricing and sales.

- Experience managing multiple manufacturing plants and cross-functional teams.

- Hands-on experience in cost optimisation, productivity improvement and operational excellence.

- Experience in plant integration, production ramp-up or post-acquisition integration will be an advantage.
