Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development:
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in 3T (Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten) and Gold mining sectors.
- Lead market intelligence, competitor analysis, and resource assessments to support growth initiatives.
- Develop and execute strategies for expansion, joint ventures, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
Project Development & Investments:
- Work on feasibility studies, due diligence, and financial evaluations for mining and metallurgical projects.
- Engage with international investors, offtakers, and trading partners to secure funding and long-term agreements.
- Build business cases for greenfield and brownfield opportunities in target commodities.
Stakeholder Management:
- Represent the company in discussions with government agencies, mining authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Build strong networks with industry associations, buyers, and strategic partners across global supply chains.
- Ensure compliance with responsible sourcing frameworks (OECD guidelines, ITSCI, LBMA, RMI, etc.).
Commercial & Contractual Management:
- Negotiate and finalize long-term supply agreements, strategic contracts, and offtake deals for Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten, and Gold.
- Oversee pricing, hedging strategies, and risk management for commodity sales.
- Develop new customer segments and international markets for company products.
Leadership & Growth Enablement:
- Mentor and guide the business development team to achieve performance targets.
- Coordinate closely with operations, finance, and technical teams to align business growth strategies.
- Monitor global commodity trends and ensure the company remains competitive.
Requirements:
Education:
- Masters degree in Business Administration, International Business, or related discipline.
- Mining/Metallurgy background is desirable but not mandatory.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in a senior management role (GM/DGM/AGM).
- Experience in 3T and Gold mining projects, global commodity markets, and offtake agreements.
- Proven ability in M&A, strategic partnerships, and international business expansion.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of global Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten, and Gold markets.
- Expertise in deal structuring, negotiations, and contract management.
- Deep understanding of responsible sourcing, ESG, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and risk assessment skills.
- Excellent communication, networking, and leadership capabilities.
