Job Description:
Position: General Manager - Business Development
Location: Gurgaon
Role Objective:
The General Manager - Business Development will be responsible for driving expansion opportunities and building strategic partnerships, with a strong focus on real estate connections. This is an individual contributor role requiring a 360-degree business development approach across QSR, Retail, Hotels, and Real Estate sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Business Expansion & Partnerships:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across QSR, Retail, Hotels, and Real Estate.
- Leverage strong real estate developer/broker network to source new sites and partnerships.
- Negotiate and finalize MOUs, lease agreements, and business deals.
2) Strategic & Financial Analysis:
- Conduct feasibility studies, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
- Build financial models to assess ROI and business viability of new opportunities.
- Present business cases to internal stakeholders for approvals.
3) Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Design, Projects) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Liaise with global teams for approvals and alignment.
- Manage legal documentation, due diligence, and compliance.
4) Market Intelligence:
- Monitor competitive landscape and market trends.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance expansion strategy.
Candidate Profile:
1) Education: MBA / Graduate (Preferred specialization in Marketing or Finance).
2) Industry Background: QSR, Retail, Hotels, or Real Estate.
3) Experience: 8+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Expansion roles.
Skills:
- Strong network in the real estate sector (developers, brokers, consultants).
- Excellent articulation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
