Position Summary:
Leads the entire peptide block operations, ensuring strategic productivity, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Acts as the organizational anchor for peptide manufacturing, driving innovation, operational excellence, and global regulatory adherence. Serves as the technical and leadership interface for audits, client interactions, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Block Leadership & Production Oversight - Direct peptide synthesis, purification, lyophilization; ensure seamless execution of large-scale batches; monitor KPIs across the block.
2. Strategic Process Excellence - Drive innovation in SPPS/LPPS workflows; lead scale-up, validation, and tech transfers; optimize yield, cost, and timelines.
3. Compliance & Governance - Champion cGMP/ICH/global regulatory standards; ensure documentation accuracy; lead RCA for deviations/OOS; maintain audit readiness.
4. Customer & Stakeholder Management - Act as senior technical liaison; address client queries; collaborate with QA/Regulatory/BD; ensure customer confidence through technical clarity.
5. People Leadership - Build, mentor, and empower peptide block teams; ensure training, competency, and succession planning; foster safety & EHS culture.
6. Infrastructure & Asset Management - Oversee synthesizers, chromatographic systems, lyophilizers, reactors; ensure maintenance, calibration, and qualification; drive facility readiness for global audits.
