Position Title: GM / AVP - Investor Relations

Location: Pune

Reporting To: Head - Corporate Strategy and Development

Preferred Industry Background: Sell-side professionals seeking transition to corporate; Pharma experience preferred but open to other industries

Education: CA / MBA

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive professional to lead our Investor Relations (IR) function. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic investor communications, support leadership with capital market insights, and contribute to shaping the company's long-term value narrative. It is ideally suited for someone from a sell-side background looking to transition into a corporate strategy and investor-facing role.

Key Responsibilities:

Investor Communication & Disclosures:

- Lead the development and delivery of clear, consistent, and compelling investor communications that reflect the company's performance, vision, and strategy.

Quarterly Earnings & Reporting:

- Manage end-to-end execution of earnings calls, quarterly results, investor presentations, and related disclosures, ensuring high-quality content and timely delivery.

Investor Engagement:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and regulatory bodies.

- Proactively manage investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences.

Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights:

- Monitor equity markets, peer performance, and industry developments to provide actionable insights and feedback to leadership on investor sentiment and market dynamics.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

- Collaborate with finance, compliance, legal, business units, and corporate communications teams to ensure all external messaging aligns with company goals and regulatory standards.

Strategic Storytelling:

- Shape and evolve the equity story and investor narrative in alignment with business strategy and long-term value creation plans.

Candidate Profile:

Experience:

- 8-15 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or investor relations.

- Candidates with sell-side experience looking to move to a corporate setting are encouraged to apply.

Industry Exposure:

- Pharma/healthcare experience is a plus, but candidates from other industries with a strong analytical and strategic background will also be considered.

Skills & Attributes:

- Strong financial acumen and analytical thinking

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proactive, execution-focused, and capable of working in high-pressure environments

- Executive presence with ability to interface with senior leadership and external stakeholders

- Sound understanding of capital markets and investor expectations
