General Manager/Assistant Vice President
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Partner with senior leadership to design and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals across corporate and plant functions.
- Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Provide thought leadership on organizational transformation, change management, and employee engagement.
Industrial Relations & Plant HR:
- Manage all aspects of Industrial Relations (IR) across multiple manufacturing plants.
- Maintain proactive union relationships, lead negotiations, and ensure long-term settlements.
- Handle disciplinary actions, grievance redressal, labor disputes, and compliance with labor laws.
- Ensure harmonious employee relations by driving engagement initiatives at the shopfloor level.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements under labor laws across sites (e.g., Factories Act, ID Act, PF, ESIC).
- Drive uniformity in HR policies, systems, and processes across locations.
- Monitor HR audits, risk assessments, and workplace safety protocols.
Talent & Capability Building:
- Drive leadership development initiatives across corporate and plant leadership levels.
- Create and execute learning & development programs to upgrade workforce skill levels.
- Institutionalize robust performance management systems and reward frameworks.
Culture & Engagement:
- Champion a unified culture across corporate and manufacturing units.
- Lead internal communications, employee engagement surveys, and action planning.
- Design DE&I and recognition frameworks to promote inclusion and performance mindset.
Digital HR & Transformation:
- Lead HR digitalization including HRIS implementation, payroll automation, and people analytics.
- Drive HR transformation projects including restructuring, M&A integrations, and process reengineering.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's Degree/MBA in HR/IR/Personnel Management from a reputed institute.
- Minimum 20 years of HR experience, with at least 10 years in plant IR and manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience handling large-scale union negotiations, HR transformation, and strategic partnering.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, union practices, compliance frameworks, and workforce management.
