Key Responsibilities:

- Spearhead advocacy initiatives with central and state government ministries to ensure favorable policy frameworks for the metal and steel sector.

- Represent the organization in high-level industry associations and chambers of commerce to influence standard-setting and regulatory discourse.

- Monitor and analyze legislative developments and regulatory changes to proactively advise the leadership team on potential business impacts.

- Build and maintain a robust network of stakeholders across government departments, think tanks, and regulatory bodies to facilitate seamless operational compliance and project approvals.

- Develop and execute comprehensive corporate affairs strategies that enhance the company's reputation and social license to operate within the manufacturing ecosystem.

- Coordinate with internal legal and compliance teams to ensure all advocacy efforts strictly adhere to corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in navigating the intricacies of government relations and public policy, specifically within the heavy manufacturing or metal and steel sectors.

- Exceptional ability to articulate complex business positions to diverse audiences, including senior government officials and industry peers, through persuasive communication and high-impact networking.

- Proven track record of managing regulatory compliance and resolving policy-related bottlenecks in large-scale industrial projects.

- Strong strategic foresight to anticipate market shifts and regulatory trends, coupled with the ability to translate these insights into actionable corporate strategies.

- Advanced interpersonal skills with the maturity to manage high-stakes negotiations and maintain long-term professional credibility with external stakeholders.

- A Master's degree in Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, providing a strong academic foundation for complex analytical work.

- Ability to operate effectively in a high-pressure, on-site environment in Delhi, balancing frequent travel with the need for consistent presence at the seat of government.
