Job Description:
GM - Accounts & Finance (Tech Industry | IPO-Bound)
Position: General Manager - Accounts & Finance
Industry: Technology (IPO-Bound)
Must have worked in 50-200 CR Company and Startup
Focus Areas: Investments, Due Diligence, IPO Compliance, Fund Raising, Banking, NSME
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall Accounts & Finance function, ensuring strong financial governance and compliance.
- Drive investment planning, financial modelling, and capital allocation strategies.
- Manage due diligence processes for investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee all IPO-related compliances, including coordination with merchant bankers, legal advisors, auditors, and regulators.
- Support fund-raising efforts including equity, debt, and strategic investment rounds.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, budgeting, MIS, and reporting.
- Manage banking, NSME, cash flow planning, treasury, and working capital.
- Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and financial processes.
- Provide strategic financial insights to the leadership team for growth and scaling.
Key Requirements:
- 12-20+ years of strong experience in Accounts, Finance, IPO readiness, and Due Diligence.
- Prior experience in a technology / tech-enabled organisation (preferred a company that has gone or is preparing for IPO).
- Deep knowledge of SEBI, ROC, and statutory compliances.
- Proven track record in fund raising, investor relations, and working with VCs/PE firms.
- Strong understanding of banking operations and NSME processes.
- CA/CPA/ICWA or equivalent qualification preferred.
Ideal Candidate:
- Someone who has led or significantly contributed to IPO-bound processes.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in fast-paced tech environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
