
About the Role:
GeeksforGeeks is looking for a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager- Growth & Acquisition to lead and scale our corporate partnerships, placement initiatives, and industry collaborations. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who has deep experience in placements, corporate relations, talent partnerships, acquisition strategy, and stakeholder management.
You will play a pivotal role in driving student placement outcomes, building long- term relationships with hiring partners, expanding our industry network, and identifying new growth opportunities. As a senior leader, you will oversee junior team members, optimize internal processes, and contribute to strategic decision- making to enhance our placement ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Partnerships & Business Growth:
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new corporate partners and expand existing placement partnerships.
- Identify emerging market trends, hiring patterns, and strategic opportunities to drive revenue and placement growth.
- Represent GeeksforGeeks in corporate meetings, industry forums, hiring summits, and partnership discussions.
Placement & Recruitment Strategy:
- Drive end- to- end placement operations, ensuring strong hiring pipelines and successful outcomes for students.
- Build and maintain relationships with CHROs, Talent Acquisition Heads, HR Managers, and CXOs across industries.
- Oversee job mapping, requirement analysis, and customized hiring solutions based on partner needs.
Stakeholder & Key Account Management:
- Manage high- value accounts with structured engagement plans to ensure long- term collaboration.
Lead communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity, consistency, and timely updates.
- Guide junior team members in handling clients, candidate pipelines, and operational tasks.
Team Leadership & Process Optimization:
- Mentor, train, and supervise the junior placement and acquisition team.
- Establish best practices, streamline workflows, and implement data- driven improvements.
- Track and analyze performance metrics, student outcomes, feedback loops, and ROI from recruitment drives.
Operational & Strategic Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with academic, training, and product teams to align hiring outcomes with course content.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on placement performance and partnership growth.
- Ensure compliance, documentation accuracy, and effective coordination during recruitment drives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a relevant field (MBA preferred).
- 5- 10 years of experience in corporate relations, placements, partnerships, talent acquisition, or growth roles.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management, key account handling, and strategic partnership development.
- Strong network across industries with established corporate hiring contacts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and reporting dashboards.
- Strong leadership, problem- solving, and decision- making abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast- paced, target- driven environment.
- Experience managing a team and handling senior- level corporate conversations.
