Job Title: Associate Vice President Operations

Role Overview

The Associate Vice President - AR will lead large-scale operations in the US Healthcare RCM domain, managing teams of 800+ employees across multiple accounts. This role requires strong leadership, client relationship management, operational excellence, and strategic vision to ensure process efficiency, profitability, and superior client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership

- Provide strategic leadership to project teams, ensuring productivity, quality, and performance.

- Mentor and guide Team Leaders, SMEs, Trainers to reduce AR ageing and optimize collections.

- Handle personnel issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure employee engagement.

- Manage multiple accounts with 400+ FTEs, covering diverse work streams.

- Drive attrition control, talent retention, and job enrichment initiatives.

Client Management & Service Delivery

- Ensure service delivery excellence for processes including Denials Management, AR Follow-up, Claim Processing, AR Aging, EDI Rejections, Billing, Payment Posting, and Charge Entry.

- Monitor workflows to meet SLA timelines and quality KPIs.

- Develop and execute business growth plans in alignment with company goals.

- Negotiate with clients on non-payment cases and oversee credit checks.

- Lead implementation of new client systems and training programs.

- Conduct regular client calls to enhance satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.

Budget & P&L Management

- Meet budgetary targets and manage the Profit & Loss statement for assigned operations.

Reporting & Invoicing

- Maintain and track key operational and collections metrics.

- Monitor invoice processing and ensure accuracy.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc forecasting reports.

Compliance & Quality

- Ensure invoicing and collections comply with legal and industry standards.

- Enforce adherence to accounting principles and RCM compliance norms.

- Stay updated on industry trends, technology, and legislative changes.

Process Improvement & Transformation

- Lead process re-engineering initiatives to improve efficiency, cost optimization, and service quality.

- Introduce new technologies, automation, and resource optimization measures.

- Identify new business opportunities and showcase organizational capabilities to prospects.

Qualification & Experience

- Graduate / Postgraduate with 18+ years of overall experience in the US Healthcare RCM domain

- Proven expertise in managing large teams (500+ FTEs) in an operations leadership capacity

- Strong background and mandatory experience in end-to-end US Healthcare RCM operations
