Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage all aspects of the internal audit function, including planning, execution, and reporting.

- Develop and implement an annual audit plan that aligns with the company's strategic objectives and risk profile.

- Conduct independent and objective audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes across all departments within the organization.

- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and assess the effectiveness of internal controls.

- Investigate and report on suspected fraud, waste, and abuse.

- Prepare comprehensive audit reports with clear findings, conclusions, and recommendations.

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions taken by management.

- Stay abreast of relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements (RERA), and best practices in internal auditing.

- Advise management on risk management strategies and best practices.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

- Mentor and guide junior auditors and build a high-performing audit team.

Qualifications:

- Must have: 10+ years of experience in internal auditing, with a strong focus on financial audits.

- Professional Certifications: CA preferred.

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).

- Industry Experience: Experience in the real estate industry is highly preferred.

- Technical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent data analysis and interpretation abilities.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools.

- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Other Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills.
