Key Responsibilities (KRA):
- Managing end-to-end export sales operations for industrial products
- Identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities in international markets
- Handling export documentation, certificates, shipping paperwork, and compliance requirements
- Coordinating with logistics partners, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities
- Building strong relationships with global distributors, clients, and channel partners
- Conducting product presentations and negotiations with overseas clients
- Driving sales targets and revenue growth across assigned regions
- Participating in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and business events
- Conducting market research to identify potential countries, competitors, and industry trends
- Ensuring adherence to trade compliance, pricing norms, and export guidelines
- Maintaining accurate records of leads, sales activities, documentation, and customer communication
- Collaborating with internal teams such as production, finance, logistics, and quality control
Required Skillsets:
- Strong knowledge of export processes, documentation, Incoterms, and trade regulations
- Experience in export sales within industrial or related product categories
- Familiarity with export/import portals, online trade platforms, and global sourcing systems
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage international clients and build long-term relationships
- Strong business planning and forecasting skills for global markets
- Understanding of trade compliance, certifications, and regulatory standards
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and export documentation software
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple regions simultaneously
- Strong analytical, coordination, and follow-up abilities
Qualifications:
- Master's/Bachelors degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or related field
- Certification/Diploma in Export Management preferred
- 2 to 4 years of experience in export sales (mandatory)
- Experience in industrial/lubricant or related product categories is preferred
