Deputy Manager / Manager - HR Summary of Role: - The role is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees & managers/ leaders in designated business units and will cover all aspects of HRBP along with driving Talent Management initiatives with an aim to provide an employee-oriented high-performance culture. - The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to Managers and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. HR Partnering: - Work with leadership team in assigned business units to develop and implement HR plans and solutions. - Partner w/ business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development. - Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience to recommend systemic improvements. - Partner with the business to lead both annual and mid-year review processes which focus on performance management and talent development. - Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions, and job re-leveling. - Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests. - Forming strong relationships with the leadership, managers, and team to be able to challenge and coach in a high-performance environment. - Drive and lead initiatives programs for effective talent management & enhance employee engagement initiatives in relevant business areas. - Support Leaders, Managers, and team on all people leadership matters, including business change and transformation. Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Talent Management: - Lead the work to regularly review within the business areas, talent management practices including performance/potential management, resource planning and succession planning and align with leaders - Identifies training needs for business units and implementing learning and development programs - Partner with HR Leads to design and execute relevant interventions Employee Engagement: - Drive and lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement initiatives in relevant business areas. - Works closely with leaders, managers, and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. - To deliver and report on the employee pulse check survey and to ensure feedback from employees is collated and interpreted correctly to help improve employee engagement. - The role requires a versatile, diverse, and experienced HR generalist with competencies as listed below: Competencies: - Personal Drive- Will be able to demonstrate being self-directed, resourceful, and creative; Able to manage own time and work autonomously; Able to work on own initiative with drive and enthusiasm. - Communication- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. - Teamwork- Ability to build and develop relationships with internal employee, strategic partners, and other external parties - Customer Focus- Works to understand customer needs; Strives to exceed expectations. - Planning and Organizing- Demonstrable experience of managing tasks and deadlines; able to resolve conflicting priorities. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Location: Bengaluru Minimum Job Qualifications: 1. Master's Degree/MBA in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred. 2. Candidates should have at least 2-5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role with broad knowledge and experience in human resource management 3. Ability to manage senior management stakeholders 4. Excellent people management skills 5. Analytical and framework thinking 6. Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
