Detailed Role Description:

As a Chief Operating Officer (India) at Galytix, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and ensuring the successful execution of the companys strategic initiatives. Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, you will oversee day-to-day operations and drive initiatives to support business growth and expansion. This is not a traditional COO roleits a high-impact leadership opportunity to leave your mark on the organizations trajectory. Youll work closely with the Head of India and key global Leadership Team members to define strategic initiatives, lead organizational change in India, and drive the execution of defined initiatives. Your leadership will directly affect every aspect of the companys operations, from sales and marketing to product development and customer and team success.

The broad responsibilities would be as follows:

Operational Strategy and Execution:

- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the companys overall business objectives.

- Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

- Continuously assess and optimize operational processes to drive efficiency and scalability.

Process Improvement and Optimization:

- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance productivity across all departments.

- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve operational performance.

- Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

Leadership and Team Development:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of goals and priorities across the company.

- Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

Risk Management and Compliance:

- Ensure that the companys operations comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

- Implement and maintain robust risk management frameworks to safeguard the companys assets and reputation.

- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any operational risks and challenges.

Product and Service Delivery:

- Leading initiatives to enhance customer experience.

- Work closely with the product, technology, and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery and support.

Financial Management, Scaling and Growth:

- Manage the companys operational budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.

- Drive the operational scalability of the business, preparing the company for rapid growth and expansion.

- Support the integration of new technologies and systems to enhance operational capabilities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience in operations leadership roles within the FinTech industry or related field.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
