Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Modelling Expert to join our team for the role of Financial Modelling - Senior Associate/Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modelling, with a specific focus on renewable energy and infrastructure industry. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to build complex financial models for project valuation and financing. Key Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models for renewable energy and infrastructure projects, encompassing project finance structures, M&A valuations, and Greenfield project feasibility assessments. - Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including valuation, cash flow modelling, sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and financial projections for M&A, Greenfield projects, and new investments. - Support capital raising and fund-raising activities by developing financial models for investor presentations and due diligence. - Prepare detailed financial projections, including debt service coverage ratio (DSCR), loan-to-value (LTV) ratios, and other relevant financial metrics. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including deal teams, investment teams, and finance departments, to gather data, refine assumptions, and ensure model accuracy. - Perform financial modelling for project evaluation, feasibility studies, investment appraisal, and post-acquisition integration. - Advise on financial structuring, debt financing options, risk mitigation strategies, and valuation methodologies. - Automate financial modelling processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. - Train and mentor team members on financial modelling techniques and best practices. - Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and financial modelling best practices. Qualifications, Experience and Skills - 5-8 years of experience in financial modelling, with a strong focus on renewable energy and infrastructure project finance, including M&A and Greenfield project experience. - Proven expertise in building and managing complex financial models using MS Excel. - Advanced knowledge of financial analysis techniques, including discounted cash flow (DCF), net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), and valuation methodologies. - Experience in supporting capital raise and fund-raise exercises, including financial model preparation for investor presentations.
