Head - Sales and Business Development Strategic Planning and Execution : - Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored for the targeted partner network. - Conduct customer mapping, market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for effective sales strategies. - Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the sales team. Sales Team Management : - Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team. - Provide coaching, mentorship, and regular feedback to team members. - Monitor team performance and implement corrective actions when necessary. Client Relationship Management : - Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with distributor partners, financial advisors, and other key stakeholders. - Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients in the financial sector. - Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize revenue and ensure client satisfaction. Sales Operations : - Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure it is accurately maintained and updated. - Implement sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness in generating Assets. Under Management (AUM): - Collaborate with marketing, product management, and operations teams to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and client satisfaction. Product Knowledge and Expertise: - Maintain in-depth knowledge of the products. - Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors affecting the private market investment industry. - Provide expert advice and insights to clients and investors regarding fund performance and investment strategies. - Gallop Research. Reporting and Analysis: - Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for leadership team & board. - Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. - Develop and monitor sales budgets and forecasts. Candidate description: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. - Proven experience in a senior sales role within the financial services industry, specifically in capital markets. - Understanding of Private Market is preferred but not necessary. - Strong network and relationship with top private banks & wealth management set-ups. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic sales plans. - Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools. - Results-oriented with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
