Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Manager / Manager Sea Export Pricing to lead and manage our sea export pricing function. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in FCL/LCL pricing, freight forwarding, shipping documentation, and international logistics, along with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships and drive competitive pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Sea Export Pricing function, ensuring timely and accurate quotations for FCL and LCL shipments.

- Develop competitive pricing strategies by analyzing market trends, freight rates, carrier offerings, and customer requirements.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, NVOCCs, overseas agents, and other key partners.

- Negotiate freight rates, service terms, and commercial agreements to achieve cost-effective solutions.

- Coordinate closely with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and overseas teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.

- Monitor market movements and regularly update internal teams on changes in freight rates, surcharges, and shipping regulations.

- Ensure accuracy and compliance in shipping documentation and international shipping processes.

- Manage escalations related to pricing and provide effective solutions to internal and external stakeholders.

- Support business growth by identifying new opportunities, improving pricing processes, and enhancing profitability.

- Mentor and guide junior team members while ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to timelines.

Requirements:

- Graduate/PG with 5-15 years of relevant experience in Sea Freight Export Pricing or Freight Forwarding with MBA in related field.

- Strong knowledge of FCL/LCL pricing and shipping documentation.

- Experience in dealing with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and overseas agents.

- Good understanding of Incoterms and international shipping processes.

- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.

- Proven ability to handle multiple stakeholders and manage a team or function independently.
