Role Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition and revenue growth in the international education, immigration, or global consulting space. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of overseas markets, prior experience in client handling, and a strategic approach to developing new business pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition & International Market Development
- Identify, engage, and convert potential clients for overseas education, immigration, or consulting services.
- Develop partnerships with universities, global consultants, visa agencies, or corporates abroad.
- Drive outreach to international leads through calls, emails, virtual events, or tie-ups.
- B2B & Channel Partnerships:
- Build and manage relationships with partner institutions, agents, and consultants in key international markets.
- Onboard and manage channel partners to increase reach and service coverage.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Targets:
- Prepare and execute sales plans to meet monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
- Work closely with internal teams to develop customized pitches, proposals, and commercial models.
- Track conversion ratios, pipeline health, and suggest optimizations.
Reporting & CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate records of client conversations and deals in CRM systems.
- Share regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights with leadership.
Domain Knowledge & Consultation:
- Stay up to date with international education trends, immigration laws, admission cycles, or consultancy frameworks.
- Provide clients with consultative sales support, helping them understand options, processes, and timelines.
Required Skills:
- 3-4 years of experience in business development, preferably in overseas consulting, international staffing, or global education.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of international markets like USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Europe, or Middle East.
- Self-driven, high ownership and result-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or related field.
- Previous experience in firms dealing with overseas admissions, immigration, foreign consultancy, or B2B tie-ups across borders.
- Fluency in Telugu and Hindi is a plus for regional outreach.
