Futures Trader - Edible Oil

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Futures Trader Edible Oil to manage trading activities across edible oil commodities. The role requires strong expertise in futures markets, price risk management, and deep understanding of edible oil fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute and manage futures trading in edible oil commodities (Palm, Soybean Oil, Sunflower Oil, etc.).

- Develop and implement trading strategies based on market fundamentals, technical analysis, and macro trends.

- Monitor domestic and international edible oil markets, including supply-demand, imports, and price movements.

- Manage price risk through hedging strategies using exchange-traded futures and derivatives.

- Track positions, margins, mark-to-market (MTM), and exposure limits.

- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and risk teams to align trading positions with physical exposure.

- Ensure compliance with exchange regulations, internal risk policies, and reporting requirements.

- Prepare daily/weekly trade performance and market analysis reports.

Candidate Profile:

- 8-10 years of experience in edible oil trading, with strong exposure to futures and derivatives.

- Hands-on experience trading on commodity exchanges (domestic and/or international).

- Strong understanding of edible oil value chains, pricing drivers, and global trade flows.

- Proven ability to manage large trading books and exposure limits.

- Strong analytical, risk management, and decision-making skills.
