Key Responsibilities
Market & Industry Research
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential markets, industry trends, customer segments, and emerging opportunities.
- Analyze market size, growth rates, and demand potential for various ITES/outsourcing services.
- Track global and regional industry developments, technological advancements, and competitor strategies.
Competitive Analysis
- Build and maintain detailed competitor intelligence reports.
- Assess competitor service offerings, pricing models, strengths, weaknesses, and differentiation strategies.
- Benchmark our services against competitors to recommend improvements.
Business Opportunity Identification
- Evaluate new geographies, sectors, and service lines for expansion.
- Identify potential clients, partnerships, and business opportunities using data-driven insights.
- Support business development teams with target account lists based on research findings.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect and analyze data from multiple sources (industry reports, databases, surveys, and internal tools).
- Prepare actionable research reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and sales teams.
- Provide insights to support sales forecasting, market entry strategies, and GTM plans.
Customer & Segment Insights
- Study customer needs, buying behavior, and outsourcing trends across sectors such as BFSI, healthcare, legal, e-commerce, telecom, etc.
- Evaluate pain points that can be addressed by our services.
Strategic Support
- Work closely with Business Development, Sales, and Strategy teams to support proposal development and client pitches.
- Contribute to annual business planning, demand analysis, and service strategy recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 2-5 years of market research or business analytics experience (ITES/Outsourcing domain preferred).
- Strong knowledge of global outsourcing trends, ITES services, and BPO/KPO/LPO sectors.
- Proficiency in market research tools, databases, and MS Excel/PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in GTM analysis, client prospecting, or strategic planning.
- Understanding of U.S., EU, or APAC outsourcing markets.
- Knowledge of CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with survey tools or secondary research platforms (Statista, Gartner, IBISWorld, etc.).
