Furlenco - Deputy Manager - Warehouse Operations

Key Responsibilities:

Operational & Financial Management:

- Own the city-level P&L; monitor and control recurring warehouse and logistics costs.

- Create, maintain, and report monthly budgets with variance analyses.

- Align labor, logistics, and last-mile operations with demand forecasts and capacity plans.

Warehouse & Logistics Excellence:

- Ensure accurate daily operational reporting and data sanity across all warehouse functions.

- Oversee inventory accuracy through perpetual stock counts and weekly audit dashboards.

- Drive process compliance, audits, and performance metrics across all warehouse sites.

- Monitor WMS dashboards to ensure high on-time delivery rates and optimized overtime hours.

People Leadership & Collaboration:

- Lead and mentor warehouse and last-mile teams; define and track OKRs for each function.

- Conduct weekly/bi-weekly performance and alignment meetings across warehouse and LM teams.

- Partner closely with HR for recruitment, training, and capability-building initiatives.

Process Improvement & Customer Experience:

- Collaborate with central operations to design and implement process enhancements.

- Minimize customer escalations and delivery cancellations through proactive issue resolution.

- Ensure seamless communication and coordination between warehouse and last-mile operations.

Candidate Profile:

Experience:

- 5+ years managing warehouse operations, preferably in fast-moving consumer goods, furniture, e-commerce, or logistics sectors.

Exposure:

- Should have handled large-scale warehouses (75,000 sq. ft. or more).

Skills:

- Strong analytical and budgeting acumen

- Team leadership and coaching ability

- Expertise in WMS, process audits, and performance management

- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
