Position/Designation: Fund Operations
Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer
Location: GIFT City, Gandhinagar
Qualification:
1. CA, CS, ICWA, or equivalent foreign qualification, or LLB having 3+ years of experience in financial services or securities or capital market.
2. FRM / Postgraduate / MBA/CFA in Finance/Law/Accountancy/Capital Markets/Banking/Insurance/ Actuarial Science along with 5 years of experience in securities market or financial services.
Experience:
- 3-5 Years in the financial sector/ securities market in the field of financial services or capital market or securities market.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling Operations, Client servicing & MIS function
Operations& Accounting:
- Manage operations & Accounting of the funds and accounts managed by the investment manager.
- Valuation of asset classes - Equity, Debt, Derivatives.
- Set up and manage the Operations process of any further funds or business launched on the platform.
- Ensuring correct Computation of Management and Performance fees
- Ensuring correct payment of retrocession fees to distributors.
- Making sure all reconciliations are done at the specified timelines.
Relationship Management with all service providers:
- Channel partners i.e. Distributors and IFAs
- Vendors, such as application development vendors, data providers etc.
- Regulators such as IFSCA, SEBI, offshore regulators
- Service providers such as banks, depositories, custodian, Global Custodian, Administrators
- Internal & external auditors, Tax Auditors
- Review of NAV from Administrators
- Manage Audit and taxation of the funds and accounts.
- Identifying additional systems requirement & working with vendors to test the systems deployed.
Client Servicing & MIS:
- Coordinate Client account opening process, NAV computations and client queries on any running fund
- Client Reporting
- Handle Internal MIS to Fund managers/Sales
- Ensuring all prospect/ client kits are updated on a monthly basis
- Marketing support on various information and due diligence required by clients from time to time
Additional Responsibility:
- Support the group Compliance team to ensure day-to-day adherence to IFSCA, SEBI, FEMA and AML regulations
- Assist in timely filing of reports/returns with IFSCA, SEBI and other regulators as applicable
- Act as first point of contact during regulatory inspections or audits relating to compliance aspects.
- Coordinate with regulators and respond to routine queries in consultation with the Group Compliance team.
Skills Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and senior management.
- Good knowledge of IFSCA regulations, SEBI regulations, AML guidelines, KYC norms.
- Strong understanding of financial products across asset classes.
- Solid execution skills with a strong process orientation and attention to operational detail.
