Fund Operations Associate - AIF Fund Operations

About the Role:

- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) team as a Fund Operations Associate. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of fund operations, regulatory compliance with SEBI norms, and coordination between fund managers, custodians, administrators, investors, and auditors.

- You will work closely with the CIO and Compliance Officer to maintain operational integrity, manage fund flows, track investor documentation, and support the governance framework of the fund.

Key Responsibilities

Fund Operations:

- Coordinate with the Fund Administrator, Custodian, and Bankers for daily operations - trade settlements, capital calls, investor reconciliations, NAV verification, and payouts.

- Maintain accurate records of all subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers of units.

- Oversee and reconcile cash movements, portfolio holdings, and broker confirmations.

- Support quarterly and annual reporting, including investor fact sheets, audited financials, and portfolio disclosures.

- Assist in the valuation process - ensuring timely receipt and accuracy of NAV computations from the administrator.

- Liaise with auditors during fund audits and ensure timely closure.

- Manage operational aspects of investor onboarding (KYC/AML), drawdowns, and distributions.

- Develop and document SOPs for recurring fund activities.

- Ensure full compliance with SEBI AIF Regulations, fund documentation, and internal policies.

- Track all regulatory filings, including Form AIF returns, financial statements, and reporting deadlines.

- Coordinate with SEBI and regulatory bodies for inspections, queries, and correspondence.

- Monitor investment restrictions, exposure limits, and related party transactions.

- Conduct periodic internal compliance reviews and report findings.

- Stay updated with new SEBI circulars and recommend implementation plans.
