Fund Manager - PMS (10-18 yrs)


Overview:

The Fund Manager - Non-Discretionary PMS will be responsible for managing and monitoring client portfolios under the non-discretionary model, where investment decisions are executed in line with client instructions. The role entails delivering customized investment solutions, conducting in-depth research, supporting portfolio construction, and ensuring compliance, risk management, and superior client service.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Develop model strategies and recommendations for portfolio construction in alignment with PMS policies, client objectives, and regulatory guidelines.

- Conduct detailed research on equities and other asset classes to generate investment ideas for client portfolios.

- Monitor and analyse existing investments; prepare reports and recommend portfolio changes for client approval.

- Execute client-approved trades with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring adherence to mandates.

- Make periodic presentations to clients and leadership on investment outlook, portfolio performance, and risk assessment.

- Manage portfolio risk profiles and ensure portfolios remain compliant with regulatory and internal guidelines.

- Collaborate with research, dealing, and operations teams to ensure seamless client servicing.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience:

- Chartered Accountant or MBA (Finance/Investments); CFA certification preferred.

- 8-15 years of experience in PMS/AMC/Wealth Management with a focus on equity research, portfolio advisory, or fund management.

- Proven track record of managing or advising large client portfolios, ideally in PMS or institutional setups.

- Experience in client-facing advisory roles will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills (Excel, Power BI, Bloomberg, etc.).

- In-depth understanding of equity markets, sectoral trends, and portfolio construction.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with clients and internal stakeholders.

- Strong conviction in investment recommendations, with the ability to articulate risks and opportunities.

- High integrity, discipline, and client-centric orientation.
