Job Description - Fund Manager (Mid Cap / Multi Cap / Flexi Cap)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Fund Manager to manage and drive performance across Mid Cap, Multi Cap, and Flexi Cap equity strategies.

The role requires a strong investment professional with a proven track record in equity research, portfolio construction, and alpha generation through bottom-up stock selection.

The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of Indian equities, demonstrate a disciplined investment philosophy, and have experience managing or co-managing diversified equity portfolios.

Professionals from both Buy-side and Sell-side backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Strong Equity Research professionals from reputed broking houses/institutional research desks with deep fundamental research expertise and a clear understanding of portfolio construction and investment strategies will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee Mid Cap, Multi Cap, and/or Flexi Cap equity portfolios.

- Develop investment ideas through in-depth fundamental research and company analysis.

- Construct and manage portfolios in line with investment mandates and risk frameworks.

- Generate alpha through effective stock selection and sector allocation.

- Conduct detailed financial analysis, valuation, and earnings forecasting.

- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend timely investment actions.

- Interact with company management teams, industry experts, and analysts to evaluate investment opportunities.

- Track macroeconomic trends, sector developments, and market dynamics impacting portfolio performance.

- Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, internal investment policies, and risk guidelines.

- Collaborate with the research team to strengthen investment insights and portfolio outcomes.

Candidate Profile:

- Experience: 7 - 10 years in Equity Research, Portfolio Management, or Fund Management.

- Prior experience managing or co-managing Mid Cap, Multi Cap, or Flexi Cap equity strategies is highly preferred.

- Buy-side professionals from AMCs, PMS firms, AIFs, and similar investment platforms are encouraged to apply.

- Strong Sell-side Equity Research professionals from reputed broking houses/institutional research desks with deep fundamental research expertise are also relevant and encouraged to apply.

- Strong expertise in fundamental research, financial modelling, valuation, and portfolio construction.

- Excellent understanding of Indian equity markets across sectors.

- Demonstrated ability to identify long-term investment opportunities and generate consistent risk-adjusted returns.

- Qualification: CFA, CA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification will be an advantage.
