About the Role:

We are hiring for a Fund Manager to lead and manage Small Cap and Mid Cap equity strategies for a leading Asset Management Company. The role requires strong expertise in Indian equities, portfolio construction, risk management, and delivering consistent alpha across market cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee Small Cap and Mid Cap equity portfolios.

- Develop investment strategies aligned with fund mandates and risk parameters.

- Conduct in-depth fundamental research and company analysis across sectors.

- Lead idea generation, stock selection, and portfolio construction.

- Actively monitor portfolio performance and rebalance based on market conditions.

- Engage with company management teams, sell-side analysts, and industry experts.

- Present investment strategy and performance updates to internal stakeholders and investors.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk guidelines.

Candidate Profile:

- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Fund Manager managing Indian equity portfolios.

- Strong track record in Small Cap / Mid Cap investing.

- Deep understanding of Indian markets, sector dynamics, and valuation frameworks.

- Proven ability to generate alpha with disciplined risk management.

- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and decision-making skills.

- MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA preferred.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
