Job Overview:
Actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fund Manager to lead our equity investment strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of equity portfolios, ensuring optimal performance, and providing strategic guidance to enhance overall fund profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the investment in Funds through AIF Category III. Owning the accountability and driving the management, development, leading the deal process, and executing deals to generate revenue.
- Fund Manager for Alternates Alpha Plus Fund (AIF CAT III).
- End-to-end research and portfolio management responsibilities including new strategy research, opportunity selection and risk management.
- Maximizing trading revenue and use different hedging strategies to minimize the portfolio risk and prevent capital loss.
- Working closely with structuring and sales teams to identify opportunities for future business growth.
- Proactively leading projects and liaise with relevant function groups.
- Undertaking credit analysis and leveraging on market intelligence to make debt investment recommendations.
- Maintaining deposits and negotiating debt including bank loans, sales & leaseback, bonds and perpetual securities.
- Assisting clients with risk management and providing hedging solutions to manage their balance sheet and interest rate exposures.
- Leading risk management decisions on the desk, managing market risk of the trading book and exchange markets to hedge risk.
Qualifications:
1. MBA and bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, or a related field; degree or relevant professional certifications (CFA, FRM) preferred.
2. Work experience of 10+ Years as a Fund Manager (CAT III) Equity & AIF or in a similar capacity
