Role Description:
- Lead fundraising efforts by identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospective investors across PE funds, FoFs, institutions, family offices, HNIs/UHNIs, private banks, and wealth advisors (domestic and offshore).
- Drive capital-raising initiatives for the AIF Category II private equity fund.
- Conduct investor presentations, webinars, meetings, and roadshows to pitch the fund strategy.
- Build and manage relationships with distribution partners, IFAs, and wealth platforms; negotiate, onboard distributors, and support sales enablement.
- Track fundraising pipeline, investor interactions, and commitments through CRM tools.
- Act as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective investors.
- Maintain long-term investor relationships; address queries and provide timely updates on performance, strategy, and portfolio developments.
- Develop engagement strategies to enhance investor satisfaction and retention.
- Coordinate investor meetings, quarterly calls, conferences, and annual reviews.
- Ensure smooth onboarding, documentation, and closure of commitments in coordination with legal, compliance, and operations teams.
- Prepare investor presentations, reports, and communication materials; ensure clear and consistent messaging.
- Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, investor behavior, and the LP ecosystem.
- Monitor fundraising cycles and LP engagement patterns to refine outreach strategy.
- Prepare materials for client-specific or fund-specific requirements.
- Track investor activities systematically and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with finance, compliance, technology, operations, and legal teams to meet regulatory requirements and ensure operational efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to enhance investor experience and strengthen internal communication.
Job Requirements
- CA/MBA/CFA with 7-10 years experience in Investor Relations, AIF fundraising, wealth management, private equity, or related fields (higher experience acceptable for non-qualifications).
- Strong knowledge of SEBI/AIF regulations, fund structures, and investment products.
- Proven fundraising track record with HNIs, family offices, private banks, and similar institutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, and analytical skills.
- Solution-oriented team player with strong interpersonal and networking capabilities.
- Preferred: established relationships with family offices, HNIs Ultra HNIs, institution, wealth managers, private banks, and distribution networks.
- Preferred: prior experience with SEBI-registered AIFs (particularly Category II).
